Abstract:
To provide a milking device comprising at least a teat-receiving flexible sleeve adapted to be positioned on/over a teat.
The milking device, in particular a teat cup liner 20 comprises a first component including a teat-receiving flexible sleeve 24, and a second component including an upper lid 22 having a film provided with a teat-receiving opening 26 to enable coupling of the two components by a snap-fit connection 28. The film and sleeve 24 comprise a material selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) defined in ISO 18064. The connection 28 is prepared by a thermoplastic material selected from polyolefins such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) and polyamide, or a combination thereof.
