Abstract:

To search and clarify causes of viscosity changes and to develop a cosmetic having incorporated therewith hydrogenated lecithin having a viscosity within an appropriate range as a milky lotion-like cosmetic.

The milky lotion-like cosmetic comprises hydrogenated lecithin and an acrylic polymer compound, where the hydrogenated lecithin contains 10-40 mass% of phosphatidylcholine when it contains phosphatidylcholine and unidentified phospholipids other than phosphatidylcholine, and the acrylic polymer compound is one or more selected from among (a) a (hydroxyethyl acrylate/Na acryloyldimethyltaurate) copolymer, (b) a (Na acrylate/acryloyldimethyltaurine) copolymer, (c) polyacrylamide, (d) Na polyacrylate, and (e) an (acrylamide/ammonium acrylate) copolymer.
