Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mill pattern selecting method in controlling the number of mills in which the mill pattern capable of keeping the heat absorption of each part of a boiler at an optimum value is automatically selected even when a spare mill is changed for maintenance or the like.
SOLUTION: A spare machine selection switch 32 to respectively select each mill as a spare mill, and a mill pattern switching circuit 34 in which the start/ stop order when each mill functions as the spare machine is stored as an optimum mill pattern in advance are provided, and the optimum mill pattern is selected by the mill pattern switching circuit in response to the selection of the spare mill by the spare machine selection switch. The start/stop order without selection of the spare machine is set as the basic pattern, and the basic pattern is selected as the optimum mill pattern when there is no selection by the spare machine selection switch.
