Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate positioning of parts so as to greatly enhance manufacturing operability and enhance the propagation characteristic of high frequency signals, which results in enhanced, stable performance of a millimeter-wave transceiver for detectable range and distance, detection of the position and speed of a target and the like, when the transceiver is applied to a millimeter- wave radar or the like.
SOLUTION: In the millimeter-wave transceiver, having a sending antenna and a receiving antenna integrated with each other, a Gunn diode 3 is installed in a metallic member 2, and the metallic member 2 is provided with a choke- type bias supply line 4a, formed with alternating wide and narrow lines and a conductor strip 5 for connecting the line 4a to the diode 3 in a straight line. The wide and narrow lines of the line 4a are each approximately λ/4 long, and the length of the conductor strip 5 is approximately {(3/4)+n}l (n is an integer of 0 or larger).
