The mineral-containing composition for oral intake use is obtained by grinding and mixing a mineral source of marine organisms origin comprising seashell, inner wall deposits of pearl oyster, pearl, oyster shell, fossil coral or fired products thereof and lactobacillus symbiotically cultured extract obtained by culturing lactobacillus and yeast under such temperature conditions that the extract is coagulable. In this composition, the mineral source of marine organisms origin contains minerals necessary for human health in good balance, and digestive function's going out of order including diarrhea and constipation which may be caused by taking these minerals can be prevented owing to the lactobacillus symbiotically cultured extract.
