Abstract:
To provide a mineral oil-based base oil having a high flash point while having low viscosity and a lubricant composition capable of enhancing fuel-saving performance by further lowering viscosity, while having a high flash point.SOLUTION: A mineral oil-based base oil of the present invention has a kinematic viscosity of 4.0 mm/s or more and less than 6.0 mm/s at 40°C, has a kinematic viscosity of more than 1.5 mmand less than 2.0 mmat 100°C, and has a flash point of not lower than 140°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
