Abstract:
To provide a beneficiation method that can efficiently recover fine particles of copper mineral.SOLUTION: The beneficiation method comprises an aggregation step of adding kerosene to a mineral slurry containing fine particles of copper mineral having a particle diameter D50 of 5 μm or less and aggregating the fine particles of copper mineral, and a flotation step of carrying out flotation using the mineral slurry. The addition amount of kerosene in the aggregation step is 5 to 15 L per 1 t of copper mineral. Fine particles of copper mineral aggregate and become easy to float in flotation. Because of this, fine particles of copper mineral can be recovered efficiently.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
