Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve attractive force without a large increase in the weight by giving a powerful magnetic force to a power conductor with cooperation of a pair of magnets and bridged magnetic flux, and increasing the attractive power of driving wheels on the track through attracting the vehicle to the track. CONSTITUTION: A miniature vehicle 10 runs by rolling a front wheel 14 and a rear wheel 16, a drive wheel, on the outside of a pair of electric rails 18. A guide pin 22 is guided by a slot 15 to collect electricity from contacts 20a, 20b, to cause rotation of an armature assembly 36 so as to run the vehicle. At this time, a pair of magnets 52 fixed on the right and on the left to the bottom surface of a chassis 24 to generate an attraction in co-operation with a bridged magnetic fluxes 60 between the rails 18 made of a material with magnetic permeability, and secure the attractive force by pushing the rear wheel 16 on the track 12. Thus, without largely increasing the weight of the vehicle, attractive force is increased and acceleration and high speed are improved.
