Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily track an object to be monitored moving in a building by using many cameras by selecting the position of the object in the building by means of an adjustable main camera means and transmitting the information on the selected position to slave camera means. CONSTITUTION: A main camera can bidirectional communicate with a monitor station 11 and incorporates a microprocessor which can communicate with slave cameras SD1-SD5 through a bidirectional communication channel 21 or a controller 10 of exclusively use hardware, etc. The main camera is not only focused on a selected position on a reference plane or made to adapt itself to the observation of the position, but also made to adapt itself to the supply of the information on the selected position. The information is supplied to the slave cameras SD1-SD5 through the communication channel 21. A certain one of the cameras SD1-SD5 adjusts one or more of pan motor, a tilt motor, a focus motor, and a zoom motor by a prescribed method.
