The minute article manipulating device comprises a tool 11 manipulating a target article 12, observing means 4 to 6 variable in magnification for observing the operation target article 12 and the tool 11, display means 2, 3 displaying an enlarged image of the target article and the tool observed by the observing means, a command inputting means 8 enabling an operator 1 to input an operation command signal, and a gain computing means 7 deciding manipulating gain of the tool from the magnification of the observing means and enlarged image information and pixel information of the display means. The tool 11 is driven and controlled on the basis of the manipulating gain and the manipulating command signal.
