Title:
MINUTE ELECTRODE FOR SCANNING-TYPE VIBRATING ELECTRODE SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04343064
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a minute electrode which is not deflected laterally in vertical vibration and which can be made to approach a sample and enables execution of sensitive measurement on the occasion when a current density in a local reacting part of a metal surface is measured by using a scanning-type vibrating electrode system.

CONSTITUTION: A minute electrode 11 is constructed of an electrode part 12 formed by bundling a plurality of carbon fibers in the longitudinal direction and by truing up the end faces 16a on the same plane, and of a covering part 13 which covers the outer periphery of the electrode part in the shape of a taper, by using a nonconductive substance, so that the covering thickness increases sequentially from the end face 16a side and that the end faces 16a of the carbon fibers 16 are exposed. According to this constitution, electrodes of the same performance can be prepared simply.
