Abstract:
PURPOSE: To achieve a cleaning of a mirror surface easily and accurately, and moreover, an automation thereof by a method wherein a cleaner is mounted on the surface of a mirror from top to bottom to allow the sliding thereof horizontally along the mirror surface and a cleaning section is set on the rear as opposed to the mirror surface of the cleaner abutting the mirror surface to wipe the mirror surface.
CONSTITUTION: A cleaner 25 is mounted on a mirror 9 from top to bottom and the upper and lower ends of a frame body 10 of the mirror 9 are grasped with rollers 29... so that the cleaner 25 slides horizontally in a smooth manner. A cleaning section 34 which comprises a mop part 33 having a base part 32 and a wiping part is fitted into a recess provided on the rear of the main body 26 of the cleaner free to load or unload. A detergent supply tube 19 is provided on the rear of the mirror 9 to supply a detergent to the surface of the mirror 9 through discharge holes 23.... The cleaner 25 moves on a mirror surface horizontally with a control panel 18 to wipe the surface of the mirror 9 with the mop part 33 containing the detergent supplied. After the cleaning, the cleaner enters into a space part 13 from an opening part 14 and moves onto a window 9-3 to dry the mop part 33 with a drier 24.
