Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a mirror cutting device which can achieve mirror machining with high efficiency and high accuracy by using a cutter provided with a plurality of edges, avoid face roughness inherent to feeding of the cutter and achieve mirror machining by using a conventional general-use machine.

CONSTITUTION: A mirror cutting device comprises a cutter 30 having a plurality of cutting edges 32 and a grindstone 40 which grinds the cutting edges to align the edge tips at least periodically during use of the cutter.
