In a door mirror device 10, a mirror is turned and stored or erected by the drive of a motor 36. When the motor 36 is driven, actuating force in a horizontal direction toward the front side of a vehicle and the outside in the vehicle width direction is applied to the motor 36. Here, the body part 38 of the motor 36 is inserted into the fixed tube 30 of a motor base 28, and a pair of moderate-elasticity claws 70 cause elastic force in the horizontal direction toward the front side of the vehicle and the outside in the vehicle width direction to operate on the body part 38, and also the movement of the body part 38 by the elastic force of the pair of moderate-elasticity claws 70 is limited by the fixed tube 30. Therefore, even when tolerance in the horizontal direction is generated in the dimension of the fixed tube 30 and the body part 38, the tolerance can be absorbed by the elastic force of the pair of moderate-elasticity claws 70, and the movement of the body part 38 by the actuating force can be prevented by the fixed tube 30 and thus the body part 38 can properly be fixed to the fixed tube 30.
