Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positional deviation direction estimating device, which can estimate a positional relation between an adequate position for a coil to be used in electric power transmission and a current position thereof.SOLUTION: The positional deviation direction estimating device according to one embodiment of the invention comprises an index value calculating part and a line position estimating part, and estimates a direction of positional deviation of a power transmission coil set or a power reception coil set. The power transmission coil set is constituted of at least two power transmission coils. The power reception coil set is constituted of at least two power reception coils. The index value calculating part calculates an index value from a parameter related to the power transmission coil set or the power reception coil set. The line position estimating part estimates a direction of positional deviation from a position of a straight line by estimating the position of the straight line from the index value on the basis of data showing a relation between the position of the straight line passing through the power transmission coils in the power transmission coil set or the power reception coils in the power reception coil set and the index value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
