Abstract:

To solve such a problem of a missile having deployable main wings released by electric signals that if the wings, which are normally positively folded at other times than the time of separation from the plane, are unexpectedly deployed by malfunction of a controller of an main deploying device at the time of loading on a carrier plane, the malfunction may inflict damages to the carrier plane and fuselage, or it causes injuries to workers around the plane.

The missile is provided with a lock mechanism which mechanically secures the folded wings, and the wings are made deployable only after the missile is separated from a carrier plane at a relative distance apart from the plane.
