To provide a mist generator capable of converting a liquid into mist with high efficiency.
The mist generator comprises a disk-shaped rotor plate 8 and a plurality of annular collision walls 13 which are circular ring-shaped and arranged concentrically. The liquid is thrown out and scattered from the rotor plate 8 by centrifugal force. The scattered liquid is collided stepwise with the plurality of collision walls 13, thereby increasing the number of collisions to promote the conversion of the liquid into mist and generate the mist with high efficiency. Furthermore, the collision walls 13 are rotated together with the rotor plate 8, thereby further applying centrifugal force to the liquid collided with the collision wall 13 to increase the collision energy generated when the liquid scattered in a radial outward direction is collided with the next collision wall 13 and promote the conversion into mist. The mist generator further comprises connection ribs arranged radially for connecting the plurality of collision walls 13 and the rotor plate 8 to one another. The liquid scattered by collision with the collision wall 13 is further collided with the rotating connection rib to promote the conversion into mist.
