Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist supplying mechanism which is available for a rotary tool of any type on the market having an inside diameter such as not to suit the outside diameter of the rotary shaft, and gives a cooling and lubricating function simply to an existing machining device by introducing such a structure that the mist can be supplied smoothly to the rotary tool in rotation without passing through the rotary shaft on which the rotary tool is mounted, whereby to select any rotary tools as desired.
SOLUTION: The mist supplying mechanism is configured so that mist with pressure is supplied to the rotary tool 18 mounted on the rotary shaft 10 so as to make cooling and/or lubrication of the rotary tool 18 at the time of machining any work, wherein the rotary tool 18 is put in a sleeve 16 having a certain requisite length fitted on the rotary shaft 10, and a plurality of mist supply passages 38 are provided extending in the axial direction of the sleeve 16, and the mist is supplied to the rotary tool 18 through the passages 38.
