To provide a mixed combustion type boiler capable of burning a plural kinds of fuels in the same burner without mounting a special burner for every kind of fuel.
This mixed combustion type boiler for burning the plural kinds of fuels is provided with a nozzle for independently blowing the fuel and an oxygen-containing gas or a nozzle for blowing a premixed gas of the fuel and the oxygen-containing gas toward the tangent direction in a tubular combustion chamber, and further comprises a plurality of burners 11a-11d constituted to form the swirling flow in the combustion chamber and to generate tubular flames, and a plural kinds of fuel pipes 13-16 mounted on a boiler surface 10 and connected with the plurality of burners 11a-11d. The connections of the plurality of burners 11a-11d and the plural kinds of fuel pipes 13-16 are switchable to supply one kind of fuel selected from the plural kinds of fuels to the plurality of burners 11a-11d.
