Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out correct positioning of a horizontal, direction and an angle direction of a fixed valve plate by slidably connecting a fixed parts to a main body, installing a member of a cartridge on a part of a hollow part of a faucet main body having a small cross section part for receiving one water inlet so as to slide in an axial direction, and connecting feed pipes to an opening of a fixed valve plate.
SOLUTION: A member 25 of a cartridge 40 is installed on the bottom part of a cover part 16 of the cartridge so as to slide in an axial direction, and is sealed by a gasket 24. A fixed valve plate 32 made of a hard material is mounted on the member 25 of the cartridge 40, the member 25 slidably extends in the hollow part 6 of a faucet main body 1, and is sealed by the gasket 26. The member 25 of the cartridge 40 is provided with two flow passages 25a, 25b, and feed pipes 2, 3 and an opening 32a of the fixed valve plate 32 are communicated with each other by the flow passages 25a, 25b when the cartridge 40 is installed in the faucet main body l. It is thus possible to improve installing work of the cartridge 40.
