PURPOSE: To improve blast efficiency by arranging a circular blade at the air intake port of a bypass passage so that the reverse air stream at the time of a low flow is guided to the bypass passage and the air stream at the time of a high flow smoothly flows to tip sections of rotor blades from the bypass passage.
CONSTITUTION: A circular blade 2 is arranged at an air intake port 1 to form a large bypass passage 3. When air flows to rotor blades 4 from both a main passage 1 and the bypass passage 3, a guide 5 is arranged at the outlet of the bypass passage 3, and an air stream from the bypass passage 3 smoothly flows to the rotor blades 4. The unstable characteristic in a low-flow area is improved, the performance reduction in a high-flow area is suppressed, and the efficiency of a mixed flow fan is improved.
