PURPOSE: To obtain a mixed tea beverage, having flavor and color tone unique to oolong tea and suppressed astringency unique to the oolong tea, excellent in transparency and useful for health, etc., by extracting the beverage from green tea leaves composed of oolong tea leaves and white tea leaves (tea leaves prepared by using new buds having many white cilia such as downy hair), etc., in a specific proportion.
CONSTITUTION: This mixed tea beverage is composed of an oolong tea extract solution and a white tea and/or a green tea extract solutions corresponding to a mixture prepared by mixing (A) an oolong tea extract solution obtained by extracting oolong tea leaves in an amount of 0.4-3.6 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. water therewith, e.g. at 90-98°C for 1-7min with (B) a white tea leaf and/or a green tea extract solutions prepared by extracting white tea leaves and/or green tea leaves in an amount of 0.1-1.2 times based on the oolong tea leaves with 100 pts.wt. water at 1:1 weight ratio.
