Abstract:

To provide a mixer finely decomposing particulate or droplet granular matter contained in biomass fuel.

A tub-like member 5 with a bottom 5a downstream of an air passage 2 closed is arranged in a mixing section for mixing the biomass fuel G in the air passage 2 so that a cross-sectional surface reduced portion 2a with a cross-sectional area reduced is formed in the air passage 2 on the peripheral side of the peripheral wall 5b of the tublike member, a cross-sectional surface suddenly increased portion 2b with the cross-sectional area suddenly increased is formed outside of the bottom 5a of the tublike member 5, and cavitation is generated in mixed gas C mixed in the mixing section in the cross-sectional surface suddenly increased portion 2b. Thereby, it is possible to finely decompose the particulate or droplet granular matter mixed from the biomass fuel G into the mixed gas C.
