To provide a mixer in which manufacturing steps are reduced and manufacturing cost is reduced by providing a structure in which three independent ports are subjected to pattern formation on the same substrate, and to provide a high frequency module and a communication device.
The mixer 1 is provided with first and second slot lines 2 and 3, a third line 4 and a FET 5, and the first and the second slot lines 2 and 3, and the third line 4 are subjected to pattern formation on the surface of the substrate 10. The first slot line 2 is a line for independently receiving a local oscillation signal LO and transmitting the local oscillation signal toward the FET 5, and the second slot line 3 is a line for independently receiving and outputting a high frequency signal RF and transmitting the high frequency signal toward the FET 5 or transmitting the high frequency signal from the FET 5 side toward an opening end 3b. The third line 4 is a line for independently receiving and outputting an intermediate frequency signal IF and transmitting the intermediate frequency signal toward the FET 5 or transmitting the intermediate frequency signal from the FET 5 side toward an opening end 41a and a coplanar line composed of DC cut lines 41-1 and 41-2.
