PURPOSE: The milk from the bottom of the mixing chamber is allowed to collide from the outlet to the top inside wall of the hood upward and to flow out in a swirl to the next process whereby the survival thermophile bacteria are reduced.
CONSTITUTION: Hot milk and steam is introduced from a directly blowing sterilizer into the inlet 3 of the mixing chamber and compressed with blowing tube 5 which is eccentrically set in the hood 2. Thus, the milk is injected upward from the outlet 5a at a high speed to collide to the inside top of the hood where the milk and the steam are mixed instantaneously. Since the outlet nozzle 5 is set eccentrically in the hood 2, the milk comes down along the wall in a swirl, then it is kept at a high temperature for 2.1sec and sent from the outlet 4 on the bottom to the next stage.
