Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an improved mixing device for separating particularly a muddy water as an industrial waste into water and muddy particles.
CONSTITUTION: This mixing device for separating the muddy water is composed of a circular mixing vessel 11 having a horizontally rotating stirring device and a rectangular discharge vessel 12 adjacent to the mixing vessel 11 through a liquid level adjusting plate 32, and the mixing vessel 11 is provided with the stirring device composed of a disk 13 attached to a rotating shaft 15 and a blade 14, and, in the discharge vessel 12, an agitator having plural rotating discharge plates 37 for discharging the mixture is provided at its discharge opening 24 side.
