Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mixing of materials and methods for molding process and construction of weed-proof pavement.SOLUTION: The present invention involves mixing of materials and a construction method using steel slag, air-cooled blast furnace slag, Shirasu balloon and EVA as main raw materials. The mixing of materials and construction method is for a weed-proof pavement material with high compression strength, bending strength, wear resistance and thermal insulation properties. The blast furnace slag is air-cooled blast furnace slag, also contains Shirasu balloon, and the pavement material is environment-friendly and conserves resources and energy. The mixing of materials and construction method is for weed-proof pavement at sites and for manufacturing molded products. The weed-proof pavement is environment-friendly and inhibits weed growth. The weed-proof pavement with heat-insulating, water-permeating and water-retaining properties suppresses global warming, and eliminates ground subsidence and liquefaction when used for landfilling a soft ground. When used for roads, sidewalks, weed-proof forest roads and parking areas, the ground surface temperature may fall by 10°C or more. The water-permeating property prevents puddle formation, restores ground water, and allows safe walking without slipping. The finished surface is landscape-friendly, and may be colored for realizing landscape designs freely. It is a dream-like innovative product.
