PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform assembling work and maintenance work for a check valve for preventing the back flow of combination of hot water and cold water from a hot water and cold water mixing chamber to hot water and cold water supplying pipes in a wide space.
SOLUTION: A hot water and cold water mixing chamber A is formed by connecting a cast iron-made tap attaching leg 6 to the lower part side of a faucet body 8 provided with a discharging port part 20 for combination of hot water and cold water a valve unit for adjusting hot water, to be handle- operated is housed in the hot water and cold water mixing chamber A, supplying passages 26, 26 for communicating hot water and cold water supplying pipes 25, 25 with fixed valve seat passages of the valve unit are formed on the attaching leg 6, and check valves 27 for preventing back flow of combination of hot water and cold water from the chamber A to the sides of the supplying pipes 25, 25 are fitted to respective supplying passages 26, 26 from the valve seat side.
