PURPOSE: To obtain a homogeneous and transparent mixture coating material capable of giving water resistance, softness, frosted properties, etc., by application to wood, leather or the plastic figure surface of a clay work by blending a wax with a hydrophilic acrylic resin solution and respective solvents therefor.

CONSTITUTION: An objective mixture coating material obtained by blending (A) 0.1-20.0 pts.wt. wax with (B) 5.0-30.0 pts.wt. hydrophilic acrylic resin solution, (C) a solvent for the component (A), composed of single component selected from n-decane, heptane, carbon tetrachloride or 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane or combination thereof and (D) a solvent for the component (B), composed of single component selected from di-n-butyl ether, ethylene glycol ethyl ether, ethylene glycol methyl ether, 1,3-dioxane, 1,4-dioxane, ethyl methyl ketone or methyl alcohol or combination thereof and, as necessary, adding (E) a polyalkylene glycol, a phthalic acid diester or a phosphoric acid triester as a solvent thereto.
