Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare the mixtures useful for a plasticizer by hydroformylating G-olefins obtained by oligomerizing propylene in the presence of certain catalysts followed by separating to 10C-aldehydes and further hydrogenating them.
CONSTITUTION: The objective compounds are produced by oligomerization of propylene in the presence of deactivated zeolites as catalysts, followed by separation of the 9C olefins from the oligomer mixture, the hydroformylation of G-olefins to 10C-aldehydes, for example in the presence of cobalt catalyst, at the temperature of from 90 to 150°C, at the pressure of from 10 to 30 MPa, and hydrogenation of the 10C-aldehydes in the presence of catalyst of which the substrate is nickel or the like.
