Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mixture for oral cavity showing transparent and uniform monophase, by including a specific polyoxyalkylene compound compatible with a prescribed liquid polyalkylene glycol.
SOLUTION: This mixture is obtained by combining (A) a liquid polyalkylene glycol carrier with (B) a polyoxyalkylene compound compatible with the carrier. A component selected from (1) a liquid polyethylene glycol having ≤ about 600 molecular weight, (2) a compound of formula I (I is ≥2C starting agent containing two or more OHs; AO is an alkylene oxide; EO is ethylene oxide; M is an alkali metal, etc.; (a) is 6-22; (b) is 1-9; (x) is 2-4) or a mixture of the component (1) and the component (2) having >600 and < about 3,000 molecular weight is used as the component A. A compound of formula II [XO] is (EO)b(AO)c ((c) is 7-90); (x) is 2] is used as the component B.
