Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering Mn as an organic salt form easy for a purification treatment in a later process from a solution containing Mn with easy operations and using low cost agents, and to provide the organic salt of Mn.SOLUTION: To a solution containing Mn, diethyl dithiocarbamic acid or an organic solvent dissolving diethyl dithiocarbamic acid is added and mixed to precipitate diethyl dithiocarbamic acid salt of Mn. In the case where the solution containing Mn also contains one or more metal element selected from Cr, Co, Ni, Fe, diethyl dithiocarbamic acid salt of the contained metal element is precipitated in addition to the diethyl dithiocarbamic acid salt of Mn. An alkali metal salt of diethyl dithiocarbamic acid, preferably a sodium salt is used. Diethyl dithiocarbamic acid salt of Mn is produced by adding diethyl dithiocarbamic acid to the solution containing Mn.
