Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully exert the capability of a motor, and avoid such an event that a motion is ceased due to a decrease in an output of a battery.SOLUTION: A mobile body moves while having wheels thereof rotated by driving a motor using redundant control systems. The mobile body includes a first control system including a first control unit 110 that drives the motor and a first battery 25 that feeds power, with which the motor is driven, to the first control unit 110, and a second control system including a second control unit 120 that drives the motor synchronously with the first control unit 110 and a second battery 26 that feeds power, with which the motor is driven, to the second control unit 120. The second control unit 120 restricts the power, with which the motor is driven, to a predetermined limit value or less so as to avoid occurrence of an abnormality of the second control unit 120, which is concerned with feed of the power from the second battery 26, according to detection of an abnormality of the first control unit 110 concerned with feed of the power from the first battery 25.
