Abstract:
PURPOSE:To place a detector, which is off a route, onto the route easily, by providing manual switches, which apply outputs similar to those of detectors, in the output side of detectors which detect the route. CONSTITUTION:Two, left and right detectors 11a and 11b which detect a route formed on a floor 13 are attached to a frame 10 of a carrier body 1. Detection outputs from detectors 11a and 11b are compared with set values in resistances VR1 and VR2 by comparators 15 and 16, and a steering motor 8 is driven through relays Ry1 and Ry2 so that both detectors 11a and 11b face the center part of the route, and driving wheels 5 are so controlled automatically that the carrier runs along the route. Manual switches SW1 and SW2 which apply outputs similar to those of comparators 15 and 16 are provided in the output side of comparators 15 and 16. When both detectors 11a and 11b are off the route together and are placed in one side, the switch SW1 or SW2 is operated to turn the steering motor 8 right or left, and detectors are placed on the route.
