Abstract:
PURPOSE: To constitute the mobile chair so that a change in direction can be executed easily without necessitating a walking stick, etc., and also, the direction of a running device can be varied without varying the direction of the body of a person which is sitting on the chair.
CONSTITUTION: A seating seat part 3 is provided on a chair main body 2 so as to be freely rotatable relatively by a first rotary shaft 4. With respect to the chair main body 2, a direction change disk 6 is provided so as to be freely rotatable relatively by a second rotary shaft 7. Between the chair main body 2 and the direction change disk 6, an ascending/descending mechanism 8 is provided. By allowing this base 6 to execute an ascending/descending operation, a running mode state that a running device 5 is grounded and a direction change mode state that the base 6 is grounded are switched selectively, and in the running mode state, axes A, B of a first and a second rotary shafts 4, 7 are shifted, and in the direction change mode state, the axes A, B of the first and the second rotary shafts 4, 7 are allowed to coincide with each other.
