To provide a mobile communication apparatus which can secure stable antenna performance.
A mobile phone comprises an antenna main body 2 which includes a first element 5 having resonance characteristics in an 880 MHz band and a second element 6 having resonance characteristics in a 1.1 GHz band between the 880 MHz band and a 1.5 GHz band. The mobile phone has a switch 21 which connects between the antenna main body 2 and a high frequency circuit 12, and a capacitor 22 which connects between the antenna main body 2 and the high frequency circuit 12 in parallel with the switch 21. The mobile phone has a control circuit which resonates the first element 5 at a first frequency in response to turning on the switch 21 and resonates the second element 6 at a second frequency in response to turning off the switch 21 through the capacitor 22 between the antenna main body 2 and the high frequency circuit 12.
