Abstract:
A mobile communication apparatus capable of selecting different communication systems stores in advance positional information of radio zones of the after-switched system, in association with the channel information thereof. The mobile communication apparatus extracts positional information of a radio zone from a radio signal of the before-switch system too. Then, the apparatus selects a communication channel of the after-switch system on the basis of the overlapped area between these radio zones.
