Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a subscriber to easily distinguish and recognize various state indications to discriminate state indications even in a foldable mobile communication equipment by limiting a received call LED and a state display LED to be provided on the portable mobile communication equipment and combining these two LEDs and a flickering state.
SOLUTION: Mobile communication equipment (PHS) is constituted so that an upper housing 5 equipped with a display screen 2 or the like and a flip 50 provided with an input part can be folded at a hinge part. Besides, the upper housing 5 is provided with LED display parts 4A and 4B in two colors of red and green, for example, on the upper end side to be exposed when folded and the indications more than five types are enabled by setting turn-on, flickering, alternate flickering and turn-on interval. These flicker indications report various states by reading flicker patterns out of a pattern generator 112 composed of a timer, etc., based on a control signal from an LED control part 113.
