Title:
MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3665465
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly reproduce analog voice signals at a speech receiving side even at the time of using a special earphone microphone developed for an acoustically handicapped person.
SOLUTION: When an earphone microphone 40 developed for an acoustically handicapped person is connected to a jack 16, this connection state is detected by an earphone microphone connection detection part 23 and reported to a control part 20. When communication is started in a state where a digital communication mode is set, a communication rate setting control means 20a instructs a voice code processing part 71 and a transmitting circut 5 to set a transmitting data rate at a full rate. Thus, the part 71 compresses digital speech transmission signals inputted from a PCM processing part 8 into full-rate signals. A code division multiple access(CDMA) signal processing part 6 applies a spread processing and an orthogonal modulation processing to these full-rate signals. Then the circuit 5 converts the signals which have undergone orthogonal modulation processing into radio frequency signals and amplifies these signals in each transmitting frame.
