Abstract:
To provide a mobile communication terminal in which the display quality of an LCD is not lowered by temporary opening/closing.
A mobile communication terminal 100 is provided with an upper casing 101 and a lower casing 102 connected turnably through a hinge part 103. When it is detected that the upper casing 101 and the lower casing 102 are turned and closed, this is reported to a CPU 10 by an opening/closing switch 11. On receiving the report, the CPU 10 stops power supply to a back light 14 and starts a timer 18 to wait the lapse of previously designated time. Afterwards, when detecting the time-out of the timer 18, the CPU 10 stops power supply to an LCD power source IC 17 and also stops an LCD controller 13.
