Abstract:

To store management information of model-dependent data in an external memory to smoothly manage the model-dependent data.

WHen power-on or replacement of a UIM 20 is detected (S1) in a mobile 10, the latest management information stored in the UIM 20 is read out (S2), and it is judged whether or not the read latest management information includes information relating to the model of the mobile and the latest management information relating to the model of the mobile is newer than version information of local management information (S3). When the judgement result is positive, distribution of the latest model-dependent data is requested to a distribution server 30, and the latest model-dependent data is received (S4). Model-dependent data in a model-dependent data storage part 16 is updated with the latest model-dependent data, and version information of local management information in a local management information storage part 17 is updated with version information relating to the latest model-dependent data.
