To provide a mobile device capable of flying for a long time by effectively utilizing the power of a battery, a movement method and a program.SOLUTION: A mobile device 1 for acquiring external information includes: a propeller or the like for acquiring thrust; a kite part 30 for acquiring buoyance; altitude determination means for determining whether the position of the mobile device 1 reaches a target altitude; expansion operation execution means for expanding the kite part 30 when the mobile device 1 reaches the target altitude; kite expansion detection means for detecting that the expansion of the kite part 30 is completed; and propeller stop means for causing the rotation of the propeller or the like to stop or decelerate when it is detected that the expansion of the kite part 30 is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
