Abstract:
To appropriately move a moving vehicle to a destination.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for controlling a moving vehicle that moves automatically, said method including the steps of: causing a sensor provided in the moving vehicle to detect a target a number of times and acquiring a detection result for each sensor detection as a point cloud; estimating, for each sensor detection, the position and attitude of the target on the basis of the point cloud; calculating, for each sensor detection, the reliability of the target position and attitude with respect to the accuracy of the estimation result; selecting, on the basis of the reliability for each sensor detection, an estimation result from the estimation result for each sensor detection, that is used for setting an approach path to a target position where the target assumes prescribed position and attitude; setting an approach path on the basis of the selected estimation result; and moving the moving vehicle along the approach path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
