Abstract:
To provide a mobile object detection device in which the occurrence of connection failure between a wiring portion and a magnetic sensor can be suppressed, and a method for manufacturing the mobile object detection device.SOLUTION: The mobile object detection device comprises: a magnetic sensor 20 detecting a magnetic field formed by a magnet that changes by the movement of a mobile object; an inner case 50 housing the magnet and the magnetic sensor 20; and a wiring portion 40 electrically connected to the magnetic sensor 20 and led out to the outside of the inner case 50. The inner case 50 includes a wiring fixing portion 54 for fixing the wiring portion 40. The wiring fixing portion 54 is welded to a part of the wiring portion 40. Furthermore, the inner case 50 includes a lead fixing portion 53 fixing a lead portion 30 that connects the wiring portion 40 and the magnetic sensor 20 to each other.
