In step S1, a user starts an application program of a pedometer from a waiting state. In step S2, the program uses an acceleration sensor to measure the number of steps taken. In step S3, information such as the number of steps taken, distance, calorie consumption is displayed as a screen indication on a display unit and operation is moved to step S6. In step S4, simultaneously with the measurement of the number of steps taken, the measurement of electric power generation from a power generation module using vibratory power generation is started via a power supply controller. In step S5, a power generation current obtained from the power generation module is measured via the power supply controller and the electric power generation is displayed as the screen indication.
