Abstract:

PURPOSE: To correct non-linearity of torque/throttle valve opening characteristics when the opening of a throttle valve is regulated to control the number of revolutions of an internal combustion engine by determining a deviation between the actual number of revolutions and the target number of revolutions of the internal combustion engine and performing PID control based on the deviation.
CONSTITUTION: In torque/throttle valve opening characteristics, the characteristics are divided classified by the region of a predetermined throttle valve opening, and a change in a gradient is brought into a state similar to a straight line in each division region. Based on inclination of a straight line similar to a straight line in an arbitrary region, inclination of a straight line similar to a straight line in each region is determined. An inverse number of inclination of a straight line in each region is predetermined as a correction factor in each region. A PID control computing formula corresponding to an arbitrary region is predetermined. After PID computation is performed according to the PID control computing formula, a comparing result is corrected according to the correction factor to decide a target throttle valve opening.
