To provide a mobile recorder for automatically reading and recording information, such as image data obtained at vehicle accident or incident, and transferring the recorded information to a specific server via a communication line.
The mobile recorder comprises a cellular phone provided with at least an imaging means, based on a camera and a position data acquisition means; and a control box provided with at least a central control part for detachably mounting the cellular phone installed in a vehicle, allowing the cellular phone to photograph an image at each prescribed time, reading out the photographed image data of the outside or the inside of the vehicle which are stored in a memory of the cellular phone for a prescribed period; and when a prescribed condition is satisfied, automatically transmitting information including at least signal data from various sensors installed in its inside or the inside of the vehicle, the image data and position data to a previously determined management server or a computer system in a security company, and storing the information in the storage part of its inside.
