Abstract:

To provide a mobile robot attitude control device which ensures the turning performance of a mobile robot in a narrow passage or a narrow place, and enhances the stability against tilting during high-speed traveling, and to provide a mobile robot attitude control method.

If the traveling speed of the mobile robot 1 is relatively slow, a wheel base WB is set narrower, whereas if the traveling speed is relatively high, the wheel base WB is set wider. Further the location of center of gravity of the mobile robot 1 is set at the center of the wheel base WB.
