A mobile robot 2 which is provided so as to move among a plurality of work stations determines and performs a next work selected by a working strategy table based on whether the work is at a self- process where the robot exists at the time or not, whether a post-process is full of works or not, and whether another robot which moves to a pre - and post-process exists or not. Since the mobile robot 2 is constructed to be an autonomous distribution type, a production line is easily reconstructed by introducing/reducing the mobile robot 2 to/from the production line.
