PURPOSE: To secure the safety of operation for finishing or the like by installing a guide rail in a mobile scaffold, engaging a traverse unit with this rail, and making a side scaffold easily retractable to the inside of a side wall.
CONSTITUTION: A self-propelled carriage 11 is mounted on a guide rail 4, a column 12 is erected on this carriage and respective upper ends are connected by each horizontal member 13, setting up each horizontal member 14 thereon. Then, lower parts are connected by a horizontal member 16 and the midway is coupled with a vertical connecting member 17, thereby forming a mobile scaffold body 10. Next, there are provided a pair of guide rails 31 extending almost perpendicular to a peripheral wall, and a traverse unit is engaged with these rails, supporting a side scaffold 40. In addition, it is made retractable to a side wall 3 through a driving means. With this constitution, a mobile scaffold is easily traveled, and operation for finishing or the like can be done so efficiently besides safely.
